Will my current insurance be affected in case of a casualty?

No, your insurance will not be affected. This insurance cover works in parallel with your existing car insurance, replacing your car insurance for the period of the rental.

If something unfortunate happens when you rent your car with RideLink, we believe your insurance policy should not be affected - any claims during the rental are against this policy.

In most cases, there’s no need to advise your insurance company and your No Claims Discount is fully protected. However, we recommend you check your insurance policy to confirm if there aren't any clauses that might prevent you from renting out your vehicle before making it available for hire on RideLink.
