What if I get a fine during the hire?

During the whole hire period, renters are fully responsible for any parking fines, if applicable.

You must immediately inform RideLink if you receive a fine within the duration of the hire period. The fine must be paid and any points are attributed to the driver.

Many cars listed on RideLink have residents’ parking permits which allow you to park for free in the appropriate bays.

If you have any doubts, please check the car description carefully or contact the car owner for more information. 

If the you receive a notification about a fine during the hire period, please contact our support team. We will resolve the matter with the driver and cooperate with the DVLA to ensure that the car owner record is not affected by any driving violations.
